A well-established, employee-owned professional services organisation is expanding its commercial team. We’re looking for a senior-level Business Development Manager who can win new clients, build strategic partnerships, and elevate our market presence across the UK & Europe.
This is a key role within a collaborative, supportive, and commercially focused environment—ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, strategy, and genuine influence.
What You’ll Do
*Own and manage the full new business pipeline
*Identify, qualify & win new client opportunities
*Build strong, consultative client relationships
*Lead proposals, pricing, and commercial negotiations
*Support marketing & social media activity to boost visibility
*Represent the business at meetings, events, and industry forums
*Provide clear handovers to internal teams for seamless delivery
(Ongoing account management is handled by the Head of Research.)
What You Bring
Essential:
*5+ years’ experience winning new business in B2B professional services
*Proven success selling research, insights, consultancy, or similar services
*Strong negotiation & communication skills
*Commercial confidence with excellent written ability
*Comfortable contributing to marketing and social content
Desirable:
*Experience in research/insights
*CRM experience
*Marketing content creation experience
