An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade of a four-star hotel in Berkshire, live in is available.
This role is ideal for a motivated chef who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, thrives in a professional kitchen environment and is keen to continue developing their career.
The Role
*Preparing and presenting high-quality fresh food.
*Catering for a variety of events, such as meetings, buffets, weddings and other functions.
*Working across multiple kitchen sections as required, maintaining consistent standards of quality and presentation
*Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards
*Supporting food cost control and minimising wastage
*Coaching and supporting junior kitchen team members
About You
*Previous experience in a professional, commercial kitchen (hotel experience advantageous but not essential)
*Strong attention to detail with experience producing both à la carte and buffet food
*Confident working with fresh ingredients in a high-volume environment
*A genuine passion for food and professional development
*Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
*Reliable, flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment
*Available to work mornings, evenings and weekends on a rota basis
