Academics is delighted to be working in partnership with an Outstanding Primary School in Hammersmith and Fulham to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate for a Graduate Teaching Assistant role. This is an exceptional opportunity for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, mental health practitioners, or child development professionals looking to gain meaningful and practical school experience. Role Details: *Start Date: April 2026
*Location: Fulham, London
*Contract: Full-time, Term-time
*Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 16:00pm
*Pay: £95 per day (dependent on experience)
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will: Work closely alongside class teachers to support high-quality daily lessons Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), applying your psychological knowledge to help children feel understood and supported Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment This Outstanding school benefits from strong, supportive leadership and a highly collaborative senior team. Graduates will receive structured training and ongoing professional development, with clear pathways into teaching and educational psychology.
This role is ideal for 2025 graduates or recent Psychology graduates who: Have a genuine passion for working with children Are considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, or mental health Have experience working with children (volunteering, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, childcare - highly desirable) Demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and a proactive attitude The school is based in Hammersmith and Fulham, with excellent transport links across London. Interviews will take place during the week commencing 8th March.
