Description
As Procurement Officer you will be working on a short term temporary role to help with a large consolidation project.
*Streamline the logistical supply chain process and optimise cost effectiveness.
*Consolidate logistics carriers.
*Build up strategic partnerships with preferred logistical partners
*Enable a predictable logistics /supply chain function that will assist with customers’ expectations
*Oversee logistics operations, ensuring smooth transportation and delivery of goods.
*Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain supply chain efficiency.
*Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
*Monitor and report on procurement and logistics performance metrics.
Profile
A successful Interim Procurement Officer should have:
*Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain management within the manufacturing sector.
*Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
*Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
*Ability to work independently and adapt to temporary assignments.
