Job Description:
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT- 3 MONTH FTC - CAMBRIDGE HEATH - £55k - 60k - STRONG POTENTIAL TO GO PERM
Robert Half are delighted to be assisting an exciting client with their search for a full-time Financial Accountant, for a 3 month FTC, with a strong potential to go permanent, offering up to £60k!
Things to know:
*Job Title: Financial Accountant
*Contract length: 3 months FTC (strong potential to go permanent)
*Location: Cambridge Heath (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) - expect to be in the office more at the start of the contract
*Salary: £55k - £60k, dependent on experience
Responsibilities:
*Lead the 2025 Group Audit from planning to completion, managing auditors and resolving queries efficiently.
*Prepare clear technical accounting papers and ensure all audit deliverables are met on time.
*Take ownership of balance sheet integrity across all entities.
*Review and post key journals.
*Oversee fixed assets, leases, loans and intercompany accounting.
*Monitor FX and support AP where needed.
*Improve month-end processes and strengthen financial controls.
*Apply strong knowledge of IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
*Manage capex and maintain the fixed asset register (additions, disposals, transfers).
*Handle lease accounting, intangibles and system reconciliations.
*Manage revenue recognition in complex, project-based environments.
*Coordinate statutory and tax compliance across the UK, Australia, Japan, US, France and KSA.
*Oversee VAT/GST/Sales Tax and Corporate Tax filings.
*Work with local advisors to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
*Use NetSuite effectively (highly desirable).
*Enhance reporting accuracy and balance sheet transparency.
*Support ad hoc finance projects in a fast-paced, international environment.
Requirements:
*Candidates must be immediately available.
*ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
*Practice-trained.
*Hands on, team player attitude.
*IFRS 15, 16 and/or 17 experience.
*Group audit experience.
