Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £43,000 + Annual Bonus + Company Benefits
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (Double Days)
A well-established manufacturing business based in Preston is looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

The RoleAs an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of production equipment across the site. Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for both reactive and planned electrical maintenance, helping to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing equipment

*Respond to electrical breakdowns and faults quickly and effectively

*Support continuous improvement and reliability projects across the site

*Fault finding on PLC-controlled and automated machinery

*Work closely with production teams to maximise machine availability

*Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures

About You:*Apprentice trained or qualified in Electrical Engineering (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)

*Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment

*Strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic skills

*Knowledge of PLC systems and automated machinery would be beneficial

*Proactive approach with a strong focus on reliability and continuous improvement
