Job Description:
Forklift Loader (Temp - Perm)
Location: Tilbury, Essex
Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary - Permanent
Job Purpose:
We are seeking experienced FLT drivers to join our clients warehouse team in Tilbury on a temp - perm basis. This role involves key warehouse operations including loading, goods-in, and preparing pallets for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
*Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load and unload goods
*Manage goods-in processes, including checking and recording deliveries
*Banding and wrapping pallets to company standards
*Maintain a clean and organised working environment
*Follow all health and safety procedures and site rules
*Work collaboratively with warehouse colleagues and supervisors
Requirements:
*Valid and in-date FLT licence
*Proven experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role
*Good understanding of warehouse safety and manual handling practices
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Desirable:
*Experience with banding and wrapping pallets
*Familiarity with goods-in procedures and stock control systems
