Security Officer
*Job Type: Full-time (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, 12-hour shifts).
*Location: Doncaster Sheffield Airport.
*Salary: £13.05 per hour, with enhanced rates for nights, overtime, weekends, and bank holidays.
Join our security team and ensure the safety and security of the premises at DSA. This role requires vigilance, a proactive attitude, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents. As a Security Officer, you will be integral in maintaining the security protocols and ensuring a safe environment for all.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Conduct access control for pedestrians and vehicles, and issue passes as required.
*Escort duties for contractors and visitors.
*Monitor CCTV and alarm systems (fire/security).
*Maintain security logs and complete reports on time.
*Respond to incidents and provide detailed reporting (fire/security).
*Conduct patrols and airport surveillance duties, both mobile and on foot.
*Operate 4x4 security vehicles and radios effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Must be SIA certified.
*Experience in access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident response.
*Ability to drive 4x4 security vehicles and operate radios.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
*Excellent communication skills and a team player.
