Description
Key Responsibilities for the MRO Buyer:
*Engage indirect suppliers and internal functions to challenge and define requirements for indirect supplies and services to reduce and improve Total Acquisition Costs
*Identify reliable suppliers and maintain a qualified vendor list for MRO goods and services
*Develop and negotiate Supply Contracts defining requirements and terms of supply ensuring compliance with the business terms of purchase.
*Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of MRO items to meet operational needs
*Development and implementation of sourcing policies and processes to improve effectiveness of the indirect category.
*Working with internal and external stakeholders alongside suppliers to provide continuous improvement and Strong cost saving with the business.
*Develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
Profile
The successful MRO Buyer should have:
*A clear understanding on how to manage and qualify vendors in line with the business MRO Function.
*The ability to positively engage with other departments for order confirmations.
*Have strong data literacy skills.
*Able to showcase strong interpersonal skills which will be required.
*Ability to positively engage key stakeholders both externally and externally.
*Strong PC Literacy and comfortable using Microsoft office.
Job Offer
*Competitive Salary offering between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
