What You’ll Be Doing
*Take the lead on customer product development projects and drive internal innovation.
*Build deep knowledge of functional ingredients and nutrients while staying plugged into market trends.
*Collaborate closely with customers to scope projects clearly and effectively.
*Provide technical formulation and nutrition expertise across the business.
*Transform customer ideas into product formulations—whether that’s premixes, sports nutrition, RTD beverages, or dairy-alternative concepts.
*Conduct sensory evaluations and provide guidance on shelf life based on ingredients, manufacturing processes, and packaging.
*Partner with procurement and quality teams to onboard new raw materials and suppliers.
*Run trials at both internal facilities and external manufacturing partners.
*Attend first production runs to support manufacturing teams and troubleshoot any product-related issues.
What You’ll Bring
*BSc/MSc in Food Science, Food Chemistry, or a related discipline.
*At least 2 years of hands-on product development experience from concept through to launch.
*Strong understanding of ingredient functionality—vitamins, minerals, flavours, colours, additives, sweeteners, the works.
*Solid project management capability and technical competence within product development workflows.
*Curiosity, creativity, and a genuine passion for food innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
