CLINICAL DUTIES
We’re seeking a vascular-trained sonographer to support both inpatient and outpatient services.
Must be confident scanning:


*Performing high-quality vascular ultrasound procedure to help in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
*Interacting with patients on a daily basis and ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures.
*Managing scheduling and workflow to ensure patient care and productivity.
*Maintaining diagnostic equipment and ensuring its proper functioning.
*Interpreting sonographic data to provide preliminary findings for physicians.
*Recording and presenting patient history and clinical data.
*Communicating effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Experience
Essential


*A recognised Degree in relevant subject or equivalent
*Appropriate post-graduate certificate/degree at master’s level, or equivalent level of specialist knowledge
*The post holder must be on the HCPC Register or equivalent Voluntary Register


Desirable


*SVT Accredited Vascular Scientist
