Advertising Sales Manager Annual Salary: £29k - £32k plus uncapped commission (OTE £40k - £45k) Location: Near Morden, South London Job Type: Full-time


We are seeking an Advertising Sales Manager to join our dynamic team, specialising in business-to-business magazines and conferences. This role involves managing advertising sales for two of our leading titles, Bulk Distributor and EuroBulkSystems, covering sectors such as chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage industries.


Day-to-day of the role:Sell display advertising primarily for print, with increasing focus on online platforms including websites and newsletters.Build and develop relationships with existing and potential clients through daily calls and structured sales activities.Create and present sales proposals, manage time effectively, and conduct web research independently.Collaborate closely with the editorial team and represent the company at trade shows in Europe and potentially other locations.Meet and exceed sales targets, provide accurate sales forecasts, and promote the magazine effectively.Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and work towards growing the client base.Required Skills & Qualifications:Well-spoken and presentable with a pleasant, friendly, and confident telephone manner.Proficient in sales proposal development and time management.Strong understanding of print and digital advertising sales.Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills, with keen attention to detail.Strong new business skills and a tenacious approach to sales.Minimum education: A-levels, with a preference for degree-level qualifications.Must be available for travel within Europe and potentially further afield.
