Job Description:
Procurement Administrator
Salary: £26,500 per annum
Location: Sevenoaks, Kent (Office Based)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00am – 4:00pm
Contract Type – Permanent
As Procurement Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Procurement team. Acting as a first point of contact for stakeholders and suppliers, you will help ensure purchase orders, systems and processes are managed accurately and efficiently.
This is a varied and hands-on role offering exposure across procurement, warehouse and contract support functions within a supportive and dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Act as first point of contact for procurement-related queries
*Manage shared inboxes and telephone enquiries
*Provide general administrative support to the Procurement team
*Process purchase orders, collections and off-hires
*Maintain accurate delivery, stock and collection records
*Update and maintain internal systems and databases
*Export and format data using Excel
*Chase suppliers for outstanding orders and updates
Essential Skillset
*Minimum 6 months’ experience in an administrative or support role
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
*Experience managing a high workload with conflicting priorities
*Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
*Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
*Confident problem-solving ability
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable learning new systems
