The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to play a pivotal role in enhancing the end-to-end member journey, improving operational processes, and influencing how services are delivered across the organisation.
This is a newly created, strategic and hands-on role sitting within the Operational Support leadership team. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement projects across multiple departments, identifying automation and digitisation opportunities, and ensuring processes are efficient, simple, and member-focused.
Working closely with senior leaders across Operations, Digital, and Commercial you will analyse current practices, map and redesign processes, and deploy Lean methodologies to deliver real, measurable improvements.
No two days are the same. You may be facilitating workshops, leading CI interventions, digging into data and root-cause analysis, shaping process roadmaps, or supporting wider transformation initiatives.


What you’ll be doing?
*Lead and deliver a portfolio of continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives
*Work closely with Digital teams to identify automation and simplification opportunities
*Map, analyse and redesign end-to-end processes across member journeys
*Facilitate workshops, brown paper sessions, and Lean problem-solving
*Drive improvements between the core organisation and its hospital operations
*Provide leadership, structure and support to a small team (Process Improvement & Member Experience colleagues)
*Convert insight (complaints, social, operational data) into actionable change
*Work cross-functionally with stakeholders of all levels to build engagement and momentum

What you need
*Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (essential)
*Proven experience delivering CI projects in complex environments
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to evidence ROI
*Ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities and influence senior stakeholders
*A collaborative, values-driven leader who can "win hearts and minds" and bring people along the journey
*Experience in automation, digitisation or system-led improvement desirable
*Background in healthcare is beneficial, but not essential
