Reservations Agent - Film & TV
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reservations Agent / Booking Agent to join a dynamic business within a niche market, which provides accommodation for the Film & TV industry. The business has been built on reputation, ethos and a passion for delivering an exceptionally high level of customer service; they are truly market leaders within their specialist field.
Reservations Agent - What will I be doing?
Whilst the core part of this role is booking accommodation, it offers a great deal of variety, and no two days are the same. Whether you are arranging hotels, bespoke accommodation, or managing existing bookings, you’ll need to be resourceful, have the ability to multi-task and must be able to react quickly and effectively and meet demanding and often changing deadlines. The position is challenging as well as fun and requires a self-motivated and ambitious individual with a desire to succeed.
Reservations Agent - What experience do I need?
*Previous experience in hotel reservations or reception is highly desirable
*Experience handling group bookings, VIP reservations, or serviced apartments/property management bookings is a strong advantage
*and establish rapport with clients and partners
*Skilled problem solver, able to take ownership of tasks and ensure positive outcomes
*Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
*Collaborative team player with the ability to build strong relationships
*Highly motivated, proactive, well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities
*Confident computer skills, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Reservations Agent - What else do I need to know?
This role is part of a dynamic and supportive team and requires a high degree of flexibility and an ability to deal with change, growth and pressurised deadlines. It is the ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about travel, culture and who always strives to deliver the best possible service to customers and clients. The role is London office based on a permanent basis for the first 6 months and then there will be the possibility to work 1 day per week from home. The hours are Monday - Friday on a shift basis between 9am and 6.30pm Salary up to £33K, depending on experience.
