A specialist designer and manufacturer of bespoke packaging solutions from concept through to mass production, across a wide range of market sectors. The company prides itself on maintaining high standards, and due to their continued success, they are expanding their team and are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join them as an Account Executive.
Title: Account Executive
Role and Responsibilities:
The Account Executive reports directly to the Commercial Manager, supporting the External Sales team, satisfying customer requirements in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
Working as part of the Commercial team, the Account Executive’s responsibilities are:
*Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring we are their preferred supplier of choice.
*Build a strong teamwork ethic with the External Sales.
*Liaise with colleagues at all levels to ensure work flows smoothly through the business, keeping all stakeholders up to date.
*Process estimating enquiries from External Sales and Customers, collating and issuing to the Estimating Team for quoting, using software systems in place.
Process customer orders/forecasts using software systems in place, liaising with all stakeholders, taking into consideration:
*Customer required dates.
*Board availability dates
*Sampling, trialling, artwork and proofing requirements
*Print and outwork requirements
*Process customer call-off requirements.
*Manage board forward orders and board stock holding.
*Manage finished stock to keep external warehousing costs to a minimum, making sure of correct stock rotation and ensuring aged stock is invoiced and taken or scrapped in a timely manner.
*Ensure all additional costs are captured and invoiced to the customer – origination, transport, storage, etc.
*Resolve and process invoice or credit queries.
*Resolve customer complaints, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed.
*Seek value optimisation and upsell to maximise business potential.
*Any additional duties requested by Management.
Key Skills:
*Print and packaging experience would be a distinct advantage
*Excellent organisational, prioritising and analytical skills
*Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
*Excellent attention to detail
*Good telephone manner with the ability to actively listen
*Approachable, empathetic and friendly with a positive attitude
*Team player
*Adaptable
*Highly numerate
*Microsoft Excel skills
