Senior FPGA Engineer Role
*Looking for an ambitious, proactive self-starter who identifies problems and takes ownership
*Xilinx RFSoC and/or Software Defined Radio experience required
*5+ yrs experience
*Strong focus on VHDL development on AMD Xilinx platforms (Vivado)
*DSP expertise required
*Experience coding for on chip ARM cores
*Experience using external DDR
*Appreciation of wider system architecture, peripheral hardware and software
*Experience with multi-clock systems and GPS synchronisation
*Clear leadership potential, with scope to lead the FPGA team based on performance
Team & Structure
*Current team consists of two FPGA engineers
*One long-term contractor is nearing retirement - succession-planning and upgrade to capable team leader
*Role is onsite, five days per week
*Salary negotiable
