We’re seeking a proactive Finance Assistant to join our client, a large organisation in Norwich on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and a desire to contribute to a busy finance function.
About the Role
As our Finance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth financial operations across the organisation. You will support the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
*Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
*Supporting month-end processes, including reconciliations
*Handling finance queries from colleagues and suppliers
*General administrative duties to support the finance team
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Confident using Microsoft Excel and finance systems
*Able to work well within a team and manage deadlines
*A good communicator with a positive, professional attitude
*Previous experience in a finance administrative role is essential
