Job Description:
We are seeking a vibrant, considered, aspirational professional to help develop and deliver our brand and cultural aspirations in growing a successful coffee and Juice Bar, The Manager will be instrumental to the success of the brand and must come with a wealth of experience in what makes great customer service, whilst delivering an exceptional experience in the hospitality industry. They will oversee the daily operations of the coffee and juice bar, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient operations, and a positive work environment. They will manage staff, events, handle inventory, maintain cleanliness, and address customer issues, while also contributing to the financial health of the business.
A sample of responsibilities:
1. Staff Management:
*Hiring, training, and supervising baristas, juice preparers, and other staff.
*Creating staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
*Motivating and leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
*Addressing employee performance issues and providing feedback.
2. Operational Management:
*Overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
*Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bar.
*Ensuring efficient workflow and smooth service during peak hours.
*Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling stock levels.
*Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
*Maintaining and updating beverage menus.
3. Customer Service:
*Ensuring a welcoming and positive atmosphere for all customers.
*Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
*Building customer loyalty and encouraging repeat business.
*Promoting a culture of excellent customer service throughout the team.
4. Financial Management: Tracking sales and managing cash flow, Monitoring expenses and ensuring profitability, analysing sales data and identifying areas for improvement, and Managing budgets and financial targets.
5. Compliance and Safety:
*Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
*Maintaining proper food and beverage handling procedures and all relevant high standards.
*Overseeing proper waste disposal and recycling.
*Ensuring proper licensing and permits are in place.
6. Other Responsibilities:
*Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract customers.
*Participating in the selection of new menu items and special promotions.
*Building and maintaining relationships with vendors.
*Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
