Job Title: Regional Housing AdministratorLocation: Birmingham, B10 0QH
Pay Rate: £13.23 per hour
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office / 2 days working from home
Contract Type: Temporary

Role PurposeAs a Regional Housing Administrator, you’ll provide essential administrative and customer support to our regional housing teams. Working closely with colleagues across the region—including the Contact Centre and Regional Admin Co-ordinator—you’ll help ensure efficient service delivery, accurate data management and excellent customer care.
This role is ideal for someone with housing experience, strong organisational skills and confidence handling purchase orders, invoices and data entry.

Key Responsibilities*Produce routine letters, reports and documents using standard templates, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
*Maintain and update manual and electronic records, including data entry and inputting lettings information into government systems.
*Monitor, record and process estate inspection and zoning information, reporting communal repairs to contractors and maintaining related records.
*Collate and present performance data and other housing management information for Neighbourhood Officers or the Housing Services Manager.
*Handle general customer enquiries and direct them to the appropriate neighbourhood teams, supporting excellent customer service delivery.
*Provide administrative support to the Resident Involvement Team and assist with wider housing initiatives across the region.
*Raise and manage purchase orders (including annual orders) and process invoices accurately.
*Order caretaker uniforms, stationery and cleaning products as required.
*Index new tenant documentation and issue paint packs and carpet incentives.
*Plan, schedule and monitor your workload to meet deadlines, using established systems and processes effectively and escalating issues when appropriate.


Experience & Skills Required*Strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
*Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.
*Previous customer service experience with a commitment to excellent service delivery.
*Experience in a housing environment is highly desirable.
*Experience raising purchase orders and processing invoices.
*Strong data entry skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate and concise records.
*Ability to analyse information from various sources.
*Proactive approach to identifying development needs and improving service quality.
