Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Salary: Competitive

What You’ll Be Doing
*Ensure full compliance with food and feed safety, quality, and defence requirements across the UK, EU, and GFSI frameworks—including Organic, Halal, FAMI-QS, and Kosher standards.
*Monitor regulatory and legislative updates, assessing their impact and updating internal protocols to maintain seamless compliance.
*Develop regulatory strategies for both new and existing ingredients/products, covering areas like allergens, REACH, novel foods, packaging materials, general food law, labelling, contaminants, botanical ingredients, and more.
*Provide detailed regulatory assessments for the quality and technical teams—e.g., novel food status, product applicability, claims, and labelling reviews.
*Coordinate with authorities to secure necessary registrations, authorisations, and licences.
*Support the design, accuracy, and regulatory alignment of product specifications across the UK and EU.
*Deliver regulatory training to quality and technical teams across Europe.
*Contribute to crisis and incident management as part of the wider leadership group.
What You’ll Bring
*At least 5 years’ experience in regulatory or technical roles within food, feed, supplements, or ingredients.
*Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
*Proven problem-solving ability and a structured approach to decision-making.
*Confident multitasker with excellent communication skills.
*Collaborative and supportive team player able to work with colleagues at all levels.
*High standard of business English.
*Self-driven, highly organised, and proficient with Microsoft Office.
