Counterbalance Operative - Temporary to Permanent
40 Hours per Week + Plenty of Overtime | 7:00am-3:30pm

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Materials Handling Operative to support the efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods on site. This is a hands-on role that plays a key part in keeping daily operations running smoothly.
Overall Purpose of the RoleTo ensure materials are safely transported, supplied, and stored to support an effective production process.
Main Duties & Responsibilities*Accurately completing stock, movement, and distribution records
*Supplying raw materials and components to production areas as required
*Collecting, transporting, and storing various materials including bales and other ingredients
*Moving goods from and to storage areas, including packaging and finished products
*Completing clear handovers with operators at the start and end of shifts
*Working day and night shifts as required
*Supporting occasional weekend and bank holiday work during peak periods
Duties may change over time in line with business needs, and flexibility is expected.
Key Skills & Experience*Experience in a production, warehouse, or similar operational environment
*Health & Safety knowledge or qualifications beneficial
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*Good verbal and written communication
*A positive team-focused approach
*Forklift Truck driving experience (minimum 6 months)
*Telehandler or shunter skills (training can be provided)
*Basic computer skills for using scanners, printers, and simple systems
RequirementsDue to the site location, own transport and a valid driving licence are essential.
