We are seeking a Temporary Warehouse Assistant for a short-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with basic mechanical hand skills, ready to support our warehouse operations. The position requires flexibility and reliability, with a focus on efficiency and safety.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in various warehouse duties as required, ensuring operational efficiency.
*Use basic mechanical skills to handle, assemble, or repair warehouse items.
*Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
*Support the loading and unloading of goods from delivery trucks.
*Organise and maintain inventory to ensure items are stored properly and easy to locate.
*Participate in inventory counts and help manage stock levels.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Basic mechanical hand skills.
*Experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
*Physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and moving heavy items.
*Ability to work early hours and adhere to a structured schedule.
