Job Description:
We are seeking a technically strong and forward-thinking Quality/Technical Team Leader to take ownership of all technical activities within a key production area. This is a hands-on role where you will drive improvements, enhance quality, and support ongoing innovation across a large and busy operational site.

Key Responsibilities
*Lead and manage all technical activity across your allocated area.
*Drive product and process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and customer value.
*Analyse operational and quality data to identify trends and proactively address issues.
*Support structured problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
*Plan and deliver trials focused on improving processes, products, and overall performance.
*Work collaboratively with teams across operations, engineering, planning, and commercial functions to ensure high standards and full compliance.
Profile
The Successful Candidate
*Ideally degree-qualified (or equivalent) in a science or materials-related subject, although strong relevant experience will also be considered.
*Demonstrates a solid track record of product or process development within a quality-focused environment.
*Confident using data to inform decisions, drive improvements, and communicate findings clearly.
*Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships at all levels.
*Proactive, challenge-minded, and comfortable leading positive change.
*Desirable experience includes familiarity with continuous improvement tools, testing/verification methods, and structured quality frameworks.
