Bookkeeper (Practice)
Glasgow | Full-time | Permanent


Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our clients team in Glasgow City Centre.
This is a varied role within a friendly and supportive practice environment. Assisting with accounts preparation will form a core part of the position, alongside full bookkeeping services and VAT compliance.
Key Responsibilities
*Providing full bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients with accuracy and efficiency
*Preparation of accounts to trial balance
*Preparation and submission of VAT returns
*Managing CIS data and returns on a monthly basis
*Preparation of financial forecasts
*Leading ad hoc advisory assignments
*Managing workload effectively to meet deadlines
Essential Skills & Experience
*Previous experience working within an accountancy firm / practice (essential)
*Proven experience managing bookkeeping services for multiple clients
*Experience using cloud-based bookkeeping systems such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
