Accounts Senior (Practice)

Salary up to £35,000 DOE


I am delighted to be partnering again with one of our key clients! This time, in their search for a Senior Accounts Assistant, due to further growth.

The successful candidate will be joining a friendly and professional team based in Glasgow City Centre, offering comprehensive financial services tailored to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes. Specialising in accountancy, payroll, bookkeeping, taxation, VAT returns, and corporate finance, they provide practical and reliable solutions that help simplify their client’s financial management.


How will you fit?
You’ll add value to the Accounts team by:
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns as well as handling bookkeeping records
*Dealing with all aspects of tax corporate and personal
*Communicating with clients face to face
*Producing Accounts
*Managing various workflows at the same time
*Working as part of a support team on a portfolio of clients within construction, hospitality, recruitment, healthcare and much more!
To be successful in this role, the following experience is required:
*Experience within a similar position, preferably within an accountancy firm
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to manage own workload, as well as prioritising workload to meet differing deadlines
*Highly motivated, driven and determined
Experience with the following software would also be advantageous:
*Iris Accountancy Suite
*Xero
*Sage Accounts
*QuickBooks
