Job Description:
Temporary Payroll Assistant
Location: Southampton
Pay: £12.56 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00
Contract: Temporary
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Payroll Assistant to support a busy finance team based in Southampton.
Key Requirements
*Previous payroll experience is essential
*Strong Excel skills – must be confident using VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data manipulation
*Experience using payroll systems such as PBS or Coopers
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage payroll data accurately
*Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
*Supporting payroll processing and data input
*Updating and maintaining payroll records
*Processing payroll information using PBS or Coopers systems
*Assisting with payroll queries and reporting
*Working with Excel to reconcile and analyse payroll data
This is an excellent temporary opportunity for someone with payroll experience and strong Excel skills looking for an immediate start.
