Job Description:
Pertemps are currently working for a leading Global organisation based in Glasgow who are looking for a Full-Time Finance Assistant. This position would suit candidates who have recently graduated in Accountancy or completed their HND and looking for their first step into a career in finance. You will join their established friendly team where you will have the opportunity to develop.
Salary circa £24k

The company has a large finance team and are ideally looking for candidates who are motivated and ambitious.
Main duties will include;
*Processing and raising Sales Ledger invoices accurately and in a timely manner
*Handling and resolving client queries relating to invoices issued
*Allocating incoming payments to customer accounts within the system
*Assisting with Purchase Ledger invoice processing, ensuring correct coding and approvals
*Managing and monitoring the finance mailbox, responding promptly to queries
*Arranging PO number allocation and obtaining appropriate authorisation prior to processing
*Supporting month-end processes as required
*Carrying out additional ad hoc finance and administrative duties
What you’ll gain:

*Experience working with multi-currency transactions

Essential Experience/Knowledge:
*Degree or HND in finance related subject
*Excellent customer service experience
*Ability to communicate at all levels
*Great attention to detail
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines
*Ability to work independently, with strong organisational and time management skills
