Our Client
Mackie Myers have partnered with a well-established not-for-profit organisation based in Oxfordshire. With a strong track record of responsible growth and mission-focused work, the organisation is now embarking on a significant period of transformation and expansion.
The Role
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering financial expertise, commercial perspective, and strategic guidance across the organisation. The position centres on enhancing financial performance, strengthening decision-making processes, and ensuring effective allocation of resources to support both financial resilience and social outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
*Partner with senior leaders and budget managers to support strategic and operational objectives
*Provide detailed financial and commercial analysis to inform planning and decision-making
*Oversee annual budgeting, regular forecasting, and periodic reforecasting cycles
*Produce comprehensive management reports, including clear analysis and actionable commentary
*Monitor financial performance through variance analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities
*Contribute to the preparation of business cases and investment appraisals
*Maintain robust financial controls, governance standards, and regulatory compliance
*Manage existing Power BI reports and develop new dashboards
The Successful Candidate
*Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
*Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience
*Background within the not-for-profit, charity or education desirable but not essential
*Confident communicator able to influence non-financial stakeholders
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight
*Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
