*This would suit someone who is Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
*Remote role with the occasion travelling to an office a few times a month

The Opportunity
An established and highly successful UK business is seeking a Commercial Finance Business Support professional to join its commercial finance function.
This is a commercially focused finance role, providing financial insight and business support to both the Commercial and Commercial Finance teams. You will play a key role in translating financial data into meaningful analysis, helping the business understand performance and protect customer profitability.
This position would suit a commercially minded part-qualified accountant looking to build experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong exposure to pricing, forecasting and customer performance analysis.
The Role
Reporting into the Commercial Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:
*Developing a detailed understanding of customer performance, including volumes and pricing
*Delivering month-end variance analysis (vs budget, prior year and latest forecast)
*Maintaining customer rebates within SAP to ensure accurate net revenue reporting
*Preparing monthly customer reports and financial analysis packs
*Reviewing account profitability alongside commercial teams to identify value opportunities
*Ownership of customer pricing updates and ensuring accurate system implementation
*Supporting budget and forecasting processes for key accounts
*Analysing drivers of change in budgets and forecasts
*Reviewing and communicating month-end balance sheet positions, identifying risks and opportunities
*Supporting strong financial controls and audit requirements
*Identifying and implementing continuous process improvements
*Building cross-functional relationships to drive commercial value

About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
*Be part-qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
*Ideally have experience using SAP
*Have strong Excel and analytical skills
*Be commercially aware with strong numerical capability
*Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
*Be proactive with a "can do" attitude
*Thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
*Be resilient and comfortable operating in a performance-driven setting
Experience within FMCG or a high-volume commercial environment would be advantageous.
