Job Description:
The City of London Corporation is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pay and Reward Analyst to join their dedicated Reward Team on a 9-month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-performing HR function supporting a unique and historic organisation at the heart of London.
Salary: £44,110 - £49,140 per annum plus generous benefits
Location: Guildhall (walking distance from bank station) 3 days from the office and 2 days from home
About the Role
As an HR Reward Analyst, you will provide expert advice, analysis, and operational support on a wide range of pay and reward matters. You will work closely with HR colleagues, managers, and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure the fair, accurate, and efficient application of our reward policies and processes.
This role requires strong analytical capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively while handling complex and sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide informed advice to HR colleagues and managers on the application of reward policies and relevant areas of the Employee Handbook. Interpret contractual terms and conditions, ensuring correct and consistent application in individual cases.
*Analyse and calculate payments and allowances including annual leave, unsocial hours, and other entitlements, ensuring all rewards are accurate and compliant with Handbook policies.
*Support the delivery and continuous improvement of key reward processes such as pay progression and performance pay. This includes data extraction, manipulation, reporting, and presenting findings. Liaise with departments, HR systems teams and payroll to ensure all processes run smoothly and accurately.
*Conduct Job Evaluations and advise HR colleagues on the preparation of job documentation to ensure alignment with grading and organisational requirements. Maintain and oversee the Job Evaluation filing and archiving system.
*Keep up to date with corporate and statutory developments affecting pay and reward. Undertake research and analysis to evaluate the impact of changes. Support the Reward Team in developing and delivering training and written guidance on reward matters.
*Actively contribute to Reward-related projects, collaborating with HR and project teams to research and analyse data, and present insightful findings and recommendations.
*Plan, organise, and participate in meetings, preparing agendas, notes, reports, and presentation materials. Monitor project plans, maintain documentation, and provide status updates to ensure milestones are met.
*Work with internal clients and stakeholders to support cross-team collaboration, define project requirements, and deliver engagement activities and communications. Support the maintenance of intranet sites or other platforms used for project communication.
*Coordinate the development and maintenance of project-related data. Present complex data in clear dashboards, model financial impacts of options, and provide analytical insights to support effective decision-making.
