Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience)

A respected asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support ongoing projects across Basildon and the wider South East region.

The Role*Conducting Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in accordance with HSG264 guidance

*Surveying a range of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties across the South East

*Accurately identifying and assessing asbestos-containing materials

*Producing clear, detailed, and compliant survey reports

*Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal colleagues

*Managing site visits and reporting deadlines effectively

*Ensuring all work is delivered in line with current legislation, HSE guidance, and company quality procedures

Requirements*BOHS P402 qualification (or recognised equivalent)

*Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy

*Strong working knowledge of asbestos regulations and best practice

*Ability to organise and manage a field-based workload independently

*Good communication and report writing skills

*Full UK driving licence
