Job Description:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a great company in the Shoreham-By-Sea area. The role involves managing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy within the accounting and finance department.

Description
*Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner.
*Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
*Prepare payment runs and ensure all payments are authorised correctly.
*Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation.
*Assist in month-end closing processes within the accounting and finance team.
*Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries.
*Support the implementation of process improvements in accounts payable procedures.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
*A solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.
*Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*An aptitude for problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £32,000 per annum - 12 month FTC
*Fixed-term contract with potential for future opportunities.

*Available as a 4 or 5 day working week
*Car driver due to office location
*4 days in office and 1 day WFH
