This business needs a Credit Control Manager who doesn’t just "manage" a team. They need them to lead, roll up their sleeves, and get results. This isn’t a paper-pushing role. This is about cash, and they need a collection expert.
You’ll be based near Accrington and take charge of a critical project to reduce aged debt across the business. You’ll work with operations teams across the UK to ensure the bills are paid on time.
What will you be doing?
*Lead a team of credit controllers and set them up for success
*Drive cash collection projects and cut down debtor days
*Build relationships with customers and get payments flowing
*Run reports, chase queries, and forecast cash receipts
*Work closely with internal stakeholders to bring them up to speed
*Implement escalation processes when things get tricky
*Help integrate credit control where needed
What do you need?
*You’ve been there, done that, so you’re a Credit Control Manager with serious experience
*You can parachute into a "bad debt mess" and clean it up
*You know your way around Excel (pivot tables, lookups, the lot)
*You’re a people person who can manage, mentor, and push a team to perform
*Flexible, pragmatic, and not afraid to get your hands dirty
*Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across different locations
