SAP S/4HANA Trainer (Finance Applications) London (Hybrid – min. 3 days in office) 6 Month Contract Rate: DOE The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Trainer to lead the design, governance, and global delivery of end-user training for SAP S/4HANA Finance and integrated finance platforms including Basware, BlackLine, WebCollect and other boundary systems. This is a critical role within a large-scale finance transformation programme, ensuring successful adoption of enterprise finance platforms across global operations. You will combine strong finance process expertise with enterprise systems training leadership, change enablement capability, and global stakeholder engagement experience. What You’ll Be Doing Training Strategy & Program Leadership Work with the established Training & Change team and the SI Partner to refine the end-to-end training strategy for SAP S/4HANA Finance and integrated boundary systems. Assess global Finance operating models, locations, workforce structures, and change impacts to complete the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify capability gaps and learning segments Own training plans aligned to go-live milestones. Develop a scalable global training strategy covering: o Learning channels and modalities o Delivery methodologies o Resource model and team structure o Sequencing and key dependencies Own training plans, timelines, and delivery schedules aligned with Go-live milestones. Work and deliver as a part of a global training team, ensuring milestone alignment and delivery quality. Content Development & Learning Enablement Design and deliver role-based curricula across: • Record-to-Report (R2R) • Procure-to-Pay (P2P) • Order-to-Cash (O2C) • Travel & Expense (T&E) Create high-quality learning assets including: • User guides & job aids • Process walkthroughs • E-learning modules • System simulations Translate complex SAP functionality into clear, business-relevant content aligned with Finance SMEs and delivery partners. Training Delivery & Facilitation • Lead global train-the-trainer programmes • Deliver instructor-led training (virtual & in-person) • Facilitate workshops, simulations, and hands-on labs • Support post-go-live hyper-care and refresher sessions Stakeholder Engagement & Governance • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on adoption and readiness • Collaborate with Finance SMEs, Solution Leads, IT & SIs • Track and report on KPIs (completion, effectiveness, adoption metrics) • Share best practice and transformation insights What We’re Looking For • 7+ years leading global training teams across multiple time zones in a matrixed organisation • 7+ years delivering enterprise systems training with strong SAP S/4HANA Finance exposure • Hands-on experience training across S/4HANA Finance modules • Proven leadership in large-scale ERP / Finance transformation programmes • Strong understanding of R2R, P2P, O2C and T&E processes • Highly Desirable • SAP S/4HANA Finance certification • Experience supporting global, multi-country rollouts • Exposure to LMS, WalkMe or digital adoption platforms • Experience in Agile or hybrid programme environments
