Teaching Assistant - KS2 - Primary School - HaringeyAn inclusive Primary School in Haringey is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team. This Teaching Assistant role will combine general classroom duties with focused SEND support.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils in Years 3-6, including children with ASD and behavioural needs. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to deliver targeted support and maintain engagement in lessons.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:*Supporting KS2 lessons daily as a Teaching Assistant

*Providing 1:1 support to a child with SEND as a Teaching Assistant

*Delivering booster sessions in Maths and English as a Teaching Assistant

*Implementing behaviour management strategies as a Teaching Assistant

*Supporting emotional regulation as a Teaching Assistant

*Liaising with SENCO and teaching staff as a Teaching Assistant

*Helping maintain a structured learning environment as a Teaching Assistant

This Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone confident, adaptable, and experienced in KS2.
Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through us.
