About the Role
This is a hands-on new business role within a startup freelance recruitment business operating under a sole trader model.
There is no existing sales or marketing infrastructure, no warm leads, and no client base. Your role is to win new recruitment clients from scratch and sell my recruitment campaign management service directly to SMEs.
You will work independently alongside the business owner (who delivers all recruitment campaigns). This is a standalone role with no wider team.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Identifying and targeting SME clients
*Prospecting, pitching, and securing new recruitment business
*Selling a freelance recruitment campaign management service
*Choosing and focusing on industries/sectors where you believe you’ll have the highest chance of success
*Engaging directly with business owners, MDs, and hiring managers
*Handing secured clients to the owner for delivery
Account management only begins after a new client is secured.
Performance Expectations (Please Read Carefully)
After an initial ramp-up period, this role is expected to deliver:
*3–4 recruitment campaigns per month
*Based on 20 hours per week
*Hours and earning potential will increase based on performance
This is a results-focused role designed to grow over time for the right person.

*No other staff – you will work directly with the owner
