People Partners are seeking a dedicated, kind and empathetic carer to join our community team in our CQC-rated Outstanding organisation. Supporting our clients and team is really important to us, so we’re excited to expand our senior team to enhance this commitment even further. We are seeking either an experienced carer or someone with current senior-level experience. In this role, you will provide outstanding care to our clients while supporting and guiding our carers to maintain the highest standards of service, all with the full support from management and colleagues. Key Responsibilities:
Staff Coordination & Scheduling
*Create and manage rotas for care workers
*Allocate carers based on skills, location, and client needs
*Arrange emergency cover for sickness/absence
*Monitor punctuality and attendance
*Ensure continuity of care where possible
*Participate in the on-call rota
Care Planning & Assessment
*Conduct initial care assessments (sometimes alongside Registered Manager)
*Develop and update person-centred care plans
*Perform risk assessments (moving & handling, medication, safeguarding)
*Review care packages regularly
*Ensure compliance with CQC standards and care regulations
Client & Family Liaison
*Act as main point of contact for service users and relatives
*Respond to concerns or complaints
*Conduct welfare checks
*Adjust care packages as needs change
Staff Support & Supervision
*Provide guidance to care workers
*Conduct spot checks and supervisions
*Support training coordination
*Assist with onboarding new staff
*Address performance issues when needed
Requirements:
*Previous experience in a domiciliary care setting.
*Previous experience as a senior carer in a domiciliary care setting is essential.
*NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a team of carers.
*Be compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing outstanding care.
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, plus business insurance.
*You will need to live in Coventry.
