What you’ll do:
*Oversee all operational aspects related to the launch and listing of new Exchange Traded Products, ensuring seamless execution from inception through to market entry.
*Manage ongoing product operations by maintaining robust processes across the ETP platforms and proactively implementing improvements to support efficient scaling and sustainable growth.
*Foster dependable relationships with key service providers such as administrators, custodians, authorised participants, market makers, as well as internal teams and external stakeholders.
*Document and maintain comprehensive product and operational workflows both internally and with third-party service providers to ensure clarity and consistency.
*Identify opportunities for automation within existing processes to enhance efficiency in both product launches and day-to-day management activities.
*Interpret complex technical documents including offering memorandums, prospectuses, term sheets, ISDAs, swap agreements, and collateral documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
*Coordinate closely with data providers and relevant platforms during product set-up and maintenance phases to guarantee accurate information flow.
*Monitor the full lifecycle of ETPs including dividend payments, corporate actions, mergers, closures, pricing models (including NAV calculations), and settlement processes through various clearing systems.
*Communicate technical information effectively to audiences with varying levels of expertise while balancing business needs with operational risk considerations.
*Contribute positively to process improvement initiatives by sharing insights on how best to scale operations efficiently in line with organisational objectives.
What you bring:
*Degree-level education or equivalent is preferred for this position as it demonstrates your foundational knowledge base.
*A minimum of eight to ten years’ hands-on experience in operations management for investment vehicles such as ETFs or ETCs linked to various asset classes including commodities, cryptocurrencies, equities, fixed income or alternatives is essential.
*Comprehensive understanding of the entire lifecycle management of ETPs - including dividend distributions, corporate actions, mergers, closures.
*Proven track record in leading successful product launches under tight deadlines while coordinating between multiple internal teams and external stakeholders is highly desirable.
*Expertise in interpreting technical documents such as offering memorandums/prospectuses, term sheets, ISDA agreements or other derivative transaction documents is necessary for this role.
*Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to different audiences ensures smooth collaboration across departments.
*Experience in identifying business risks within dynamic environments coupled with practical solutions for mitigation is important for safeguarding operations.
*Demonstrated capability in developing process improvements including automation and scaling up operational workflows efficiently adds significant value.
*Solid understanding of settlement processes via various clearing systems alongside exchange listings supports accurate transaction management.
*Advanced IT proficiency including strong Excel spreadsheet skills (for quantitative analysis) plus coding experience (VBA or Python) enhances your effectiveness.
