Job Description:
Quantum Scholars are currently seeking experienced tutors to work with pupils receiving Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) provision in Wokingham and the surrounding areas.
These roles involve delivering 1:1 tuition to pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education, often due to additional needs such as autism, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical needs. Tuition may take place in a variety of settings including the pupil’s home, community venues, or local learning spaces.
We are looking for tutors who can provide engaging, supportive and personalised learning to help pupils re-engage with education and make meaningful progress.
Role details:
* 1:1 tutoring for pupils outside of mainstream school
* Flexible part-time hours
* Sessions typically take place during school hours
* Opportunities available across Wokingham and nearby areas
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) strongly preferred
* Experience working with pupils with additional needs such as autism or SEMH
* Strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
Pay will be dependent on experience.
