Learning Support AssistantLocation:Ipswich
Hours: Full-time
Start: Immediate
The RoleTradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming Primary school in Ipswich to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities*Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with SEN or additional needs
*Support pupils with classroom activities, engagement, and behaviour
*Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and preparation
*Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
The Ideal Candidate*Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
*A patient, caring, and proactive approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
*A strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection
Requirements*Right to work in the UK
*An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*References covering the last two years
