About the RoleWe’re looking for a proactive, organised and compassionate Team Leader to support the delivery of high-quality Day Services for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, and complex or challenging needs.
In this role, you will:
*Lead, supervise and support a team of Support Workers
*Develop creative, person-centred activities within both community and building-based settings
*Ensure services meet required standards, legislation and best practice
*Build strong relationships with families, carers, and external agencies
*Manage rotas, staff performance, training, supervisions and appraisals
*Oversee safeguarding, risk assessments, incident reporting and adherence to policies
*Maintain accurate records and support quality monitoring
*Work flexibly, including participation in an on-call rota
About YouYou’ll bring:
*NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care
*Experience working with adults with challenging behaviours
*Previous experience supervising or leading staff
*Strong understanding of safeguarding, The Care Act, MCA and Health & Safety legislation
*Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
*Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
*Flexibility to work shifts, evenings, weekends and bank holidays if required
*Enhanced DBS (Adults Barred List)
