Chalk Hill Group are delighted to be supporting an internationally operating organisation, based near Woking, in their search for a Credit Controller. This role will offer hybrid working.


Key responsibilities include:
*Ownership of cash collection and focus on debt reduction across the Group
*Work with key clients, using influencing and negotiation skills, to bring payment terms in line with contractual obligations
*Monitor customer payments vs business level performance, ensuring limited risk exposure
*Obtain required information to perform credit checks, in order to set credit limits
*Identify and analyse high risk customers, identifying means to reduce risk where possible
*Liaise with lawyers for all legal matters relating to legal actions against international customers
*Liaise with external stakeholders for all legal matters relating to potential action against international customers
*Manage internal queries and mailbox


Experience required:
*Extensive experience of high volume sales ledger
*Basic accountancy knowledge
*Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel/word
*Strong communication skills with ability to build and influence relationships, internally and externally
*Numerate and good analytical skills
*Proven ability for attention to detail and accuracy
