Job Description:
Credit Risk Analyst role based in London. You will play a vital role in assessing and managing credit risks, while interacting with both internal stakeholders and external clients regarding energy supply and credit management

Description
*Conduct credit assessments using both quantitative and qualitative inputs, submit credit insurance requests, and perform regular credit limit reviews.
*Apply strong knowledge of credit rating methodologies and financial ratios.
*Identify and implement effective credit-risk mitigation strategies.
*Negotiate and review legal agreements including ISDA, EFET, CSAs, and PCGs.
*Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions, ensuring appropriate risk mitigation, credit terms, collateral packages, payment structures, and exposure evaluation.
*Balance risk, reward, and liquidity considerations to support commercial growth and portfolio profitability.
*Build and maintain financial models.
*Present credit cases to stakeholders.
Profile
A successful Credit Risk Analyst should have:
*2+ years of experience within Credit Risk, ideally within Energy & Natural Resources or a related field.
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
*Proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment techniques.
*Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
*Ability to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.
*Knowledge of credit risk modelling and management practices.
*Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in risk analysis.
