I’m pleased to be partnering with a well-established, well-known organisation in Peterborough, who are looking for a Temporary Finance Analyst to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a temporary contract, running until September 2026 and a great opportunity to support a busy finance function and gain exposure to a range of accounting tasks, including assisting with monthly management accounts.
Working a 35 hour week – split across 4 days in the office and 1 from home, your duties will include:
*Bank postings and bank reconciliations
*Maintaining the fixed asset register and posting depreciation
*Accruals and prepayments
*Supporting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
*Financial analysis and reporting
We’re looking for someone who:
*Is immediately available and ready to start a new role ASAP
*Has finance experience and strong Excel skills
*Is naturally inquisitive and analytical approach
*Able to review large sets of data, spot anomalies or discrepancies, and investigate them
*Has experience with reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
*Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*Is Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA (desirable)
