In this role you will deliver engaging training to apprentices and T Level students studying Civil Engineering and Construction. You will teach a wide range of industry relevant topics including Health and Safety, Construction Science, Design, Building Technology, Sustainability, Measurement, Digital Technology, Project Management, Commercial and Business practices, Information and Data, Law and Relationship Management within construction projects.
You will also support learners through practical activities, employer set projects and industry placements designed to develop real world technical and professional skills. Working closely with employers, you will help ensure the training reflects modern industry practices and prepares learners for careers such as Technical Surveyor, Building Technician, Architectural Technician, Land Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor and Site Manager.
The ideal candidate will have strong Civil Engineering experience and a degree or relevant qualification within the field. Teaching experience is not essential as full training and support can be provided for the right industry professional looking to transition into education.
