Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover
Working Pattern: Full-time
About the Role
A highly regarded secondary school in Slough is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave. The school is looking for someone who can deliver engaging, inclusive Physical Education lessons and promote a positive approach to health, fitness, and wellbeing across KS3 and KS4.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT seeking a supportive environment and a rewarding temporary placement.
Responsibilities
*Teach PE across KS3 and KS4
*Deliver practical and theoretical lessons that inspire participation and progress
*Plan, assess, and report on student learning
*Contribute to extracurricular sports and enrichment activities
*Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and safeguarding
*Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider school team
Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education
*Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred)
*Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
