Job Description:
Pharmaceutical analysis plays a key part in the drug development process, ensuring the drug substances and products manufactured are correctly characterized and validated throughout the whole process.
Our client manufactures a range of materials for pharmaceutical and speciality chemical companies and due to ongoing success are looking to recruit a QC Scientist to join the team!
Primarily, you will be responsible for analysing raw materials, intermediates, in-process control samples and reference materials using HPLC, GC, NMR and other analytical instruments. You will follow pre existing methods and procedures and also get the opportunity to develop and validate new methods.
To be considered for this role you will have:
*A degree in Chemistry/Biology or equivalent
*Hands on experience with HPLC and/or GC
*Experience developing and validating and analytical methods in line with ICH guidelines
*Understanding of instrument maintenance, calibration and repair
*Excellent communication skills
