Embark on an exciting journey as a Costs Draftsman at a national law firm with a local reach. Based in our Sheffield office, this permanent role offers a competitive salary range of £30,000 to £55,000, allowing you to thrive in a friendly and inclusive environment. As part of our growing Court of Protection costs team, you’ll play a vital part in preparing Bills of Costs for assessment, interacting with clients, and providing technical support to our fee earners.

Preferred Requirements:
*Expertise in costs drafting, including the preparation of Bills of Costs for assessment
*Proficiency in legal procedures and the ability to manage caseloads and competing deadlines
*Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner to engage with stakeholders across the business
*Flexibility to adapt to rapid changes in priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
*Desirable: Financial or legal qualifications, such as ACL or ILEX, and experience in legal departments, preferably with Court of Protection experience
Preferred Qualifications:*Minimum of two years’ experience in costs drafting, either in-house or for an external supplier
*Proven experience with IT systems and time recording procedures
*Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing a seamless service
