Business Development Manager – Field Sales (Yorkshire)

Take ownership of your territory in Yorkshire as a Business Development Manager, driving new B2B opportunities, growing accounts, and enjoying uncapped commission potential. This field-based role offers autonomy, career progression, and the chance to make a real impact on business growth.
The roleIn this hands-on, territory-based position, you will:
*Proactively generate new B2B business through door-to-door canvassing
*Present services clearly and professionally, demonstrating benefits to clients
*Upsell and develop accounts you bring on board
*Book and attend meetings with key decision-makers
*Convert inbound enquiries into business opportunities
*Complete site risk assessments and audits as needed
*Pre-qualify opportunities to ensure client fit and credit approval
*Keep CRM records accurate and up to date
*Monitor competitor activity and market trends in your area
*Attend regional networking events to promote the business
*Support the implementation of new services for customers
About you
*Proven B2B sales experience, ideally selling service contracts
*Comfortable with door-to-door canvassing and outbound prospecting
*Excellent organisation, communication, and relationship-building skills
*Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
*Full UK driving licence
*Experience in waste/recycling or related sectors is a plus but not essential
